Disney World.... "It's Where we're going"

We finally made it home from Disney World!

We have been wanting to take the kids to Disney World for months, years, or since Miller was born. We finally saved up the money, conned my lovely parents into going with us, decided that Emma was old enough, Miller was the perfect age, and the rest is history!

We told Miller WAY too early for a 3 year old's attention span. For weeks every morning the first words out of my sweet boys mouth were... "Are we going to Disney World today?" All he really understood was that we were going to Mickey's house in Flordia and the biggest thing he knew was that we were going to see the big castle! Every time a Disney Movie came on we heard... "That's Disney World... it's where we're going"

We had an amazing trip! The babies were unbelievable on the ROAD TRIP there and back! They watched movies, read books, played games, and only stopped to go to the bathroom a few times! We made record time getting there and home and I couldn't be more proud of them!

We stayed on Disney Property at the All Star Music Resort with a family suite which is awesome! The room was a hotel room, but had plenty of space for us all! We had a room right outside of the pool which was wonderful! The kids loved the Guitar Shaped pool and all the amenities of the hotel!

The Parks were a little crowded but it was a great week! The weather was beautiful and we didn't really have to wait long on any rides! Day 1 we went to Hollywood Studios which didn't have a ton for the kids to do, but I wanted them to see the Pixar Pals Parade which was Awesome! The Parade featured all the Disney/Pixar characters from the movies Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Cars, and Up(Emma's Favorite)! It was amazing to see their faces light up when they saw those characters "In real Life." Just amazing! Hollywood Studios also had the Tower of Terror which my little Dare Devil rode 3 times!!! Miller LOVES rides and especially roller coasters! We all rode the Tower of Terror the first time, I was afraid that it would be too scary for him, but he begged to ride it! Boy, was I wrong- he loved it, rode it and then asked to do it again and again!

Day 2.. was the big day! Magic Kindgom here we come! Dressed to impress in the matching shirts and of course the Mickey ears! The Magic Kingdom was just- that magical! The kids had a wonderful time! We rode all kinds of rides. The Small world, the Railroad, Dumbo.. you name it, if Miller could ride it- he did!! We also met Mickey & Minnie and all the princesses!

Miller on Thunder Mountain Railroad!!!

We met Mickey & Minnie!
Day 3.. We went to Animal Kingdom. Not my favorite park, it was hot and kinda smelly! But we did have a great time at the Donald's Safari breakfast! We got to meet Donald, Goofy, Daisy, Mickey & Minnie! We loved this and the kids were amazed that Goofy was coming to eat breakfast with them! We also went on a Safari here which we all enjoyed.

Day 4&5.. We split up Epcot & Pool time. As I said the kids loved the guitar pool with all the fountains and things! And by day 3 I figured we needed some down time and a little relaxation by the pool. We had a fun morning at Epcot and lunch at the Under the Sea restaurant with Nemo which the kids loved. Eating with fish all around was so interesting for them! We also went to Downtown Disney and ate lunch at the T-Rex cafe. Miller loved it soo much! It was a huge restaurant with dozens of animontronic(sp) dinosaurs that Mills just knew were real.. and really looked like it!

We had the most amazing trip and I have so many memories of my sweet babies! They were so adorable meeting Minnie & Mickey and all the characters! I am so happy that we were able to take Miller at this age, it was unbelievable how much he enjoyed it and how real everything was. He just knew that was the real Mickey & Goofy- because we were at their house! I couldn't have asked for a better trip with my babies. I will never forget the great memories and special times we had.

I also thank my parents for going with us on this adventure! Without them it would have been impossible for Wes & I to enjoy everything with each child that we wanted to. They were truly a blessing to have with us and I'm pretty sure they came back with some wonderful memories also!
